Now, we’ve combined the latest into one consolidated blog, providing a full view of the NCGA’s interim committee structure for 2025-2026. While committee assignments are still subject to change, we’ll continue to monitor and update this post as new information becomes available.

Below is a breakdown of the combined House and Senate appointments, highlighting committee chairs and co-chairs, along with a look at the members with the most leadership roles and committee placements in the interim. Committee Leadership and Influence

Across both chambers, no legislator holds more than two committee co-chairmanships.

Senate

In the Senate, Sen. Ralph Hise (R) leads all members with seven interim committee appointments. He is followed by Sen. Brent Jackson (R), Sen. Michael V. Lee (R), and Sen. Bill Rabon (R), each with six appointments.
